President

A high school junior, Sanya has pursued extensive public service and policy experience at the local, state, and federal levels. She has interned for government offices and nonprofit organizations where she contributed to policy research, legislative drafting, civic education initiatives, and constituent engagement. Sanya is also a public speaker, published writer, and national award-winning student innovator. Her passion for civic engagement has been recognized through opportunities to present research, lead national youth initiatives, and develop digital tools to support educational equity.

Achutan Raghushri

National Programs & Events Director

Achutan Raghushri is a high school sophomore from New Jersey who is passionate about politics and government. He currently serves as the Programs Director for the HSDA’s Hindu Caucus and also serves as a Co-Events Director and the New Jersey State Liaison for the AANHPI Caucus. In his free time, Achutan enjoys volunteering at his town’s historical society, and he also loves music, as he sings, plays the piano and the violin, and is a cast member of his school’s spring musical.

Maalouf

VP & Communications Director

Annie Maalouf is the Vice President and Communications Director of the VOTE Movement. A high school junior from Massachusetts, she is passionate about civic engagement, local elections, and public service. Annie currently interns at the Massachusetts House of Representatives, where she has worked on policy initiatives to strengthen local journalism and authored a bill advocating for fair compensation for public school paraprofessionals. With a deep-rooted interest in history and debate, Annie brings strong communication skills and a determined voice to the movement.

Van Dam

National Ambassador Program Director

Milan van Dam is a devoted political and educational policy advocate who passionately works to turn out young voters and promote the youth voice. Through his work volunteering for several state and county parties and in multiple leadership positions in local and national youth political organizations, he has been a strong voice for young Americans, bringing their voices to politicians and organizers at all levels of government.
