Nadeem
Founder and President
Sanya Nadeem is the Founder and President of The VOTE Movement. A high school senior from Massachusetts, Sanya has pursued extensive public service and policy experience at the local, state, and federal levels. She has interned for government offices and nonprofit organizations where she contributed to policy research, legislative drafting, civic education initiatives, and constituent engagement. Sanya is also a public speaker, published writer, and national award-winning student innovator. Her passion for civic engagement has been recognized through opportunities to present research, lead national youth initiatives, and develop digital tools to support educational equity.
Annie
Maalouf
VP & Communications Director
Annie Maalouf is the Vice President and Communications Director of the VOTE Movement. A high school senior from Massachusetts, she is passionate about civic engagement, local elections, and public service. Annie currently interns at the Massachusetts House of Representatives, where she has worked on policy initiatives to strengthen local journalism and authored a bill advocating for fair compensation for public school paraprofessionals. With a deep-rooted interest in history and debate, Annie brings strong communication skills and a determined voice to the movement.
Marshall Romero

Hi everyone! I’m Marshall Romero, passionate about the Texas Legislature, civic engagement, and making democracy work for everyone. I believe in building a stronger, more equitable Texas where every voice is heard and every vote matters. Let’s get to work.
Achutan Raghushri
National Programs & Events Director
Achutan Raghushri is a high school sophomore from New Jersey who is passionate about politics and government. He currently serves as the Programs Director for the HSDA’s Hindu Caucus and also serves as a Co-Events Director and the New Jersey State Liaison for the AANHPI Caucus. In his free time, Achutan enjoys volunteering at his town’s historical society, and he also loves music, as he sings, plays the piano and the violin, and is a cast member of his school’s spring musical.

Teeson
International Expansion Director
Chase Teeson is the director of International Expansion for The VOTE Movement. A high school senior from Massachusetts, Chase is passionate about voting access both in his own community and across the world. He has worked with his state government to further policy initiatives, promoting civic participation in the process. A fluent Spanish speaker and involved member of the international community, Chase is working to bring The VOTE Movement’s success across the globe.

Van Dam
National Ambassador Program Director
Milan van Dam is a devoted political and educational policy advocate from Maryland who passionately works to turn out young voters and promote the youth voice. Through his work volunteering for several state and county parties and in multiple leadership positions in local and national youth political organizations, he has been a strong voice for young Americans, bringing their voices to politicians and organizers at all levels of government.

President - India Chapter
Gauri is a passionate advocate for civic engagement and serves as the president of V.O.T.E. Movement- India Chapter. With a strong interest in politics and psychology, she is deeply committed to understanding and empowering others. A natural leader, she enjoys communicating with people and driving meaningful change. In her free time, she likes to read books, plays golf to unwind, and watch political debates!
